Mass Millworks trusts the and you should too

The Mass Millworks process is our golden standard for custom builds from design to finishing.

When you work with Mass Millworks, you are not just working with another woodworking company that makes custom cabinets and millwork. You are working with a company that loves to get into the weeds with you to find out what you really want. We handle all the details from finishes to hardware, and we love our process that gets you from consultation to installation in just a few short weeks. We like to go into detail on what you can expect when you work with us and give you a better understanding of the Mass Millworks Process.

Consultation

We provide all our clients with a consultation designed to introduce you to the world of custom woodworking. We want to get to know you as a client and what exactly you are looking for. Once we know the product or products, we can get to work to start discussing wood type, rough dimensions, and metal type if we are looking for supports or other pieces. We know that you might not know what you want until you see it, and we will work with you to develop your idea into a vision.

CAD Drawings

Next, our team of millworkers will take that vision and put it into CAD drawings. These drawings will be our blueprint and can provide you with a rough idea of what you would be looking at in terms of exact specifications and design. This is the chance for you to make changes and figure out precisely what you are looking for in terms of your piece.

Setup of Plans

Once we agree upon the CAD drawings, our team will develop the plans that our millworkers will follow when it comes time to mill your piece. These plans are final, and we will provide them to you to give a once-over before we start milling.

Milling

This is the fun step, well, at least for us. Milling is a long process, but it is what our employees love to do. Each part of your piece is milled at our shop in Mass, and although it is not as fast as the big box stores, our millworkers will put their heart and soul into the process.

Installation Instructions

Each one of our pieces comes with installation instructions that are easy to follow. We know that each client is different and thus want to make installation as pain-free as possible. If you or your installer have any questions, our team is always happy to walk them through any issues they may have on installation day.

Hardware

Finally, we also include all the hardware that comes with the piece. All of the hardware comes with a quick installation packet as well, but it should be straightforward for any professional.
